Work is ongoing to enhance services for people on the Island suffering from dementia.
That’s according to the Department of Social Care which says it wants to help more people stay in their homes for longer.
There are currently around 1,214 people suffering from the condition – this is expected to rise to over 2,000 by 2030.
The department says it places a great focus on dementia care - Minister Howard Quayle says the problem is only going to worsen:
