8 Teenagers in Switchback Car Crash

Manx Police say they believe there were 8 teenagers in a car that crashed on the Switchback late last night in which a 14 year old girl was killed.

5 of them were taken to Hospital.

The crash happend at around 11pm on the country road near Peel and claimed the life of Lucia Porter.

The alarm was raised at 11:14pm.

The police are appealing for anyone with information to conatct them. In particular, they wish to hear from anyone who may have seen a small white car being driven in the area last night.

Meanwhile support is being given to the families of those involved.
