Teenage Girl Dies in Switchback Crash

A teenage girl has died in a crash on the Switchback near Peel.

Lucia Porter has been named by her family on the Social Media site Facebook.

Lucia's Mother, Julie Porter posted the following message in the early hours of this morning.

"It is with a heavy heart that I let people know that my daughter Lucia has passed away after being involved in a car accident last night.
She will be missed more than words can express and I can't begin to explain the sadness we all feel.
Sleep tight Lucia and you will be in my heart for ever"

Tributes have been paid to Lucia by many of her friends on her Facebook page.

There has been no information released as to how many people were travelling in the car.

So far Manx Police have not issued any infromation about this incident.
