Strain on National Health Service set to get worse

Expenditure on the Island’s health service could top a quarter of a billion pounds by 2035.
That’s the forecast from the Department of Health which says a national debate is needed on the future of the NHS model.
From April the department will be merged with Social Care – and is the only government department to see a budget increase this year.
Minister David Anderson says there are a number of factors putting strain on the service:
