The Isle of Man’s action to combat tax evasion has been personally recognised by the secretary general of the OECD.
The organisation says it’s very happy with the progress being achieved on tax transparency by the Crown Dependencies.
15 years ago the Isle of Man was on the OECD black list in relation to tax matters – however last year it was awarded the top ‘compliant’ rating.
