The Residents’ Society of Derbyhaven says it will continue its fight to protect Langness.
It follows a court judgement ruling that the LP21 planning clause in the Southern Area Plan – which prevented development in the area – should be abolished.
The group was an interested party in the case between the Department of Infrastructure and Dandara.
It had wanted to quash all references to the area in order to start again and for Langness to be viewed as a special case – but this was rejected with only one planning clause being ruled unfair.
