Extra funding may be available for the Department of Economic Development - despite it facing a budget cut.
The department's budget has been reduced from £6.4 million to £5.5 million for the next year.
That means a 0.8 per cent decrease in net expenditure this year.
The DED is subject to the lowest outlay of all the government departments - but can apply for funds like Treasury's Marketing Initiative Fund.
