The Isle of Man’s education system could be recognised on a worldwide scale.
That’s the view of the new director of education, who says he’d like the Island to become a world leader in the field.
Geoff Moorcroft will take up the position at Easter – succeeding Martin Barrow who is retiring after a 36-year career.
He says his initial aim is to spend time building relationships with staff at the schools and college and says he is looking forward to the challenge ahead:
