Island osteopathy may be UK regulated
Mon, 17 Feb 2014
The Isle of Man has signed an interim Memorandum of Understanding with the UK General Osteopathic Council.
It follows the successful second reading of the Health Care Professionals Bill in the House of Keys last week.
If the bill becomes law, the Department of Health will rely on the council to regulate osteopaths working in the Island.
It means they will have to be registered in order to practice here.
