Mountain Road closed due to weather

The Mountain Road has been closed due to poor weather conditions.

It’s shut between the Creg Ny Baa back road and the Hairpin in Ramsey.

Police say conditions are treacherous due to the combination of high winds, sleet and heavy rain.

Motorists are asked to drive with care wherever they are on the Island – with reports of fallen trees and standing water on many of the road surfaces.
