The Strand Shopping Centre says it is 'business as usual' despite the long term future of the operation now in doubt.
It was revealed earlier this week that the retail outlet had gone into receivership with London based company DTZ handling the process.
Fergus Jack and Bryn Williams of DTZ are the joint receivers with the centre’s management stating all invoice matters should be now forwarded to the company.
The Strand had been a popular location for shoppers since it opened in 1990, however a number of units have shut their doors over the past five years of economic downturn.
Arguably the busiest store, HMV looked like it would be joining the list of casualties last year; however the entertainment store did remain open.
Shoppers are advised that the centre will continue to operate as normal for the foreseeable future.
