Shopping centre goes into receivership

The Strand Shopping Centre has gone into receivership.

It's now in the hands of the receivers with London company DTZ handling the process.

The Strand houses stores such as HMV, Millets and Mothercare to name but a few.

For the time being the centre will continue to open as normal. 

We’ll have more information on this in due course.
