Broken train will not cost taxpayer says Minister

The new train which has broken down already
There will be no cost to the taxpayer to fix a new £400,000 train which has already broken down.
That’s according to the Department of Community, Culture and Leisure which bought the train into service at the end of last year.
It was due to take over from the old Viking diesel - however during commissioning a problem was found with the engine and it’s believed this will have to be replaced.
