Motorists have been told to expect disruption today as the Island is hit by another storm surge.
The east of the Island is likely to be worst affected during this afternoon's high tide.
Strong to gale force winds and low pressure means waves will break the sea defences.
This will cause substantial water, stones and debris to be deposited on many coastal roads.
Numerous roads around the Island will be closed in the interests of public safety.
