Thousands of people in the Island have signed a petition opposing a new tax on sewerage.
The ‘Isle of Man residents against the toilet tax’ appeal has gained almost four thousands signatures since it was set up.
It follows the news that people will be charged £50 more for their rates from April this year, when the tax is introduced.
People behind the campaign say the average household is already struggling with the rising cost of living and will refuse to pay the bill when it arrives.
