Ayre Clay Target Club hosted the fourth round of their English Skeet winter league in fine conditions at Blue Point on Sunday.

Keith Jones was the early leader hitting all 25 targets of the first half. Jeff Corkill and Kevin Oates were hot on his heels, both only missing one clay for 24.

Corkill hit the only 25 of the second half to give him the win on 49 as Jones hit 23 for a total of 48 to give him joint second with Oates who hit another 24.

Dave Corlett and Stephen Sayle were joint fourth with 45.

Jack Kneen is making a habit of beating Dad Marty at his own game, scoring 43 to Marty’s 42.

B Class: 1, Jeff Corkill 49; 2, Stephen Sayle 45; 3, Juan Cowley 44.

C Class: 1, Dave Corlett 45; 2, Alan Kinrade 44; 3, Peter Fabrizio 43.
