Flybe could chose to run the patient transfer service to another airport in the North West.
That’s according to the Chief Minister who says the airline isn’t contracted to run the service specifically to Liverpool.
At the end of last year concerns were raised about how patients would be transferred to the UK for hospital treatment after Flybe confirmed it was pulling out of some routes.
The three routes the airline will operate from March are Liverpool, Manchester and Birmingham.
