There will be less police officers on the streets this year.
That's the warning from the Island's chief constable who says it's likely frontline services will be affected by government's aim to save money.
With just weeks to go before the Budget is revealed the Department of Home Affairs is warning that the emergency services are not exempt from cutbacks.
