There's an appeal from the farming community after another sheep was killed in a dog attack.
The pregnant ewe was attacked in a field at Marine Drive on Saturday.
The dog's owner did notify the farmer of the incident.
A graphic video showing the horrific injuries suffered by the sheep has been posted on Facebook to try to get the message out to pet owners.
The animal responsible is said to be a family pet that "wouldn't normally hurt a fly."
The farmer involved, who doesn't wish to be identified, says it's just one in a series of incidents.
He doesn't blame the dogs but says the responsibility lies with owners to ensure pets are kept on a lead when they are being walked near livestock.
