Flybe says flight safety was not compromised after details emerged about a service from the island which was in a close call with the Runcorn Bridge.
The information came to light this week after the Air Accident Investigation Branch published a report about an incident on 1st June.
The morning flight with 61 people onboard was on its final approach to Liverpool John Lennon Airport when alarms sounded in the cockpit.
It alerted the flight crew that the aircraft was too low and was on a collision course, probably with the bridge.
The crew adjusted the flight path averting an incident.
The airline says the safety of its passengers and crew is its number one priority and the incident was thoroughly investigated by its own investigators.
It says a number of actions have now been taken to further improve safety.
If you were on that flight we'd like to hear from you - you can contact the Energy FM Newsroom on 664433.
