A Flybe plane which flew from the Isle of Man to Liverpool earlier this year was believed to be close to crashing into the Runcorn Bridge.
That's according to a report published by the Air Accident Investigation Branch after an incident on the morning of June 1st.
The plane had left Ronaldsway with 61 passengers and four crew onboard heading for John Lennon Airport.
However during the descent the aircraft flew below the recommended level which in turn sounded the cockpit alert.
The AAIB says the obstacle was not positively identified but was possibly the Runcorn Bridge - the report added that the flight crew took appropriate action to correct the issue and make a safe landing.
