£50,000 of emergency aid has been donated to UK humanitarian charities by the Isle of Man Government this year.
The International Development Committee has pledged the money in response to three emergency appeals for aid.
The money has helped UNICEF UK’s response to the cyclone in Somalia, the refugee crisis in the Niger Republic and its children’s project in the Central African Republic.
UNICEF began the project to protect displaced children from the risk of violence and human trafficking.
