The Steam Packet Company has announced additional sailings to Heysham following the cancellation of this mornings crossing.
The 8.45am and 2.15pm return had to be scrapped due to the adverse weather conditions.
Instead they will now operate a sailing to Heysham at the later time of 9.00pm, and a return at 03.00am tomorrow morning.
Passengers from the cancelled sailings will be transferred to the new times.
It marks the first time in at least 30 years that the Steam Packet has operated a Christmas day sailing.
Chief Executive Mark Woodward has thanked their customers for their ongoing understanding and patience.
