James May's MGP 'Meccano Bike' challenge for BBC Xmas schedule

James May and Oz Clark's documentary about his Meccano motorbike journey over the Mountain Course is being aired in the New Year.

Filmed during the 2013 Manx Grand Prix (MGP), the Radio Times 'Pick of the Day' is set to be broadcast over BBC2 on January 3rd.

Chairman of the MGP says he's looking forward to seeing the "wacky races" retro bike in action - which is made of approximately 15,000 pieces.
