The number of passengers travelling through Ronaldsway Airport increased last month by over five per cent.
October was the eighth consecutive month that the airport experienced an increase in passengers.
Just over 65,000 people travelled by air – that’s up by 3,400 from the same time period last year.
The North West routes showed the most growth with 32,000 passengers flying to the region – the Liverpool route was up by 20 per cent for Flybe and 37 per cent for easyJet.
The London routes showed mixed results – Gatwick increased by 23 per cent but London City and Luton both showed significant decreases.
