The Island's Home Affairs Minister has praised the services provided by Victim Support.
While the Island is considered one of the safest places to live in the UK there has been a steady increase in demand for the service over the last decade.
The charity says the bulk of its work focuses on supporting victims of physical and sexual assault, domestic abuse and those affected by fatal road traffic collisions.
