A confidential Chlamydia testing service will be rolled out on the Isle of Man.
The Health Minister has confirmed that a scheme is being set up to combat the sexually transmitted disease.
David Anderson told the House of Keys that it will be a definitive programme - not a trial - and will follow a scheme that already operates in the UK.
Details are yet to be finalised but it is planned that local pharmacies would distribute the tests and provide the treatment.
However as yet the Minister says there are no firm timescales:
