Postmen will start delivering parcels at different times of the day in the run up to Christmas.
It’s part of a new trial to successfully deliver more packages.
The post office says it wants to see if there is a better success rate by doing drops in the late afternoon and evening when people are more likely to be at home.
The trial is taking place in residential areas of Douglas – letters and urgent parcels will be delivered as normal.
