Police warn cyber bullies they will be found

As Anti-Bully week draws to a close the police have sent a message to youngsters that they will take a tough stance on cyber bullying.

The topic has formed the focus of this year’s campaign, with advice and information offered for parents on what to do if they suspect their child is a victim.

Cases of cyber bullying have grown in line with the boom of social media, with many reports from the UK of children resorting to suicide.

Crime prevention officer Mike Radcliffe has responsibility for social media - he says the constabulary has had to deal with numerous cases in recent years:
