Minister says 2014 budget is looking good

The Treasury Minister says work is progressing well on the formulation of the 2014 government budget.

Eddie Teare confirmed that government are still on course to rebalance the books by 2015, but concedes there are still external factors that could affect this.

He told us the greatest challenge is to formulate a realistic budget, whilst ensuring the Island remains an attractive proposition for both residents and business.
