In their latest annual report, drugs charity DASH has reported a huge increase in the uptake of their free service.
From March 2012 to March of this year, the advice service and helpline added 372 new contacts to their books, representing an increase of 29% to the adult service and a 46% rise in those contacting the young person’s services.
DASH faced closure in March as a consequence of having their funding stopped by government; this has since been rectified thanks to the financial support of e-gaming companies Pokerstars and Microgaming.
