DSC's plans for elderly questioned by union

Unite the Union has sent a newsletter to their members to bring them up to date on Department of Social Care’s plans to externalise services.

The DSC is looking to outsource care for the elderly - a move met by derision from some MHKs and concern from staff.

Union representative Eric Holmes has criticised Minister Chris Robertshaw for not being forthcoming with information for his members.
