DEFA Minister Phil Gawne will be asked to give evidence on a range of issues specific to his department at a hearing next Friday.
The Countryside Care Scheme will be the focal point of the session.
Minister Gawne will be joined by the Department’s Chief Executive Richard Lole, as both give evidence to the Environment and Infrastructure Policy Review Committee.
The standing committee was set up following May’s Tynwald sitting.
The meat plant and associated issues will also form part of the questioning.
