IoMSC Douglas travelled to Sulby and came away victors in all three Divisions. The visitors are beginning to reap the rewards of junior members and none more so than 14 year old Thomas Clague who continues week after week to post excellent scores. Top score for the hosts went to Mark Cain and Peter Webb both on 96. Michael Duncalf led the IoMSC Douglas team with a 99 closely followed by Andy Potter on 98, the remaining three Division 1 team mates all scored 97 – Mark Osborn, Thomas Clague (J) and Martin Burns.
Sulby Cossacks were hosted by IoMSC Sandsiders at The Sinclair Range, St Johns where the home team produced consistent results claiming the win in all three Divisions. Bill Jones held the top shot for Sandsiders ahead of daughter Marion and Spouse, Liz – quite a family affair! Bill posted a 99, Marion and Liz with Tony Kneale and Richard Arthur all producing 97’s. Tim Hardisty claimed top slot for the visitors on 97 with Jess Clague close on 96.
A very small Kirk Michael team were inundated by a large team from Port St Mary. The northern team appear to be struggling for members as only eight managed to shoot on Monday. Perryn Callister led the Kirk Michael Division 1 team on 97 with junior shooter, Illiam Christian close on 96. Gary Knight appears to be increasing his league results weekly and led the visiting Division 1 team on 98 with Ashley Gardner, Kevan Kneale, Ean Brewis and junior shooter, Callum Grant all producing 97’s. For the second time, the ports’ Division 2 team produced an equal highest Division 2 score of the season so far of 478 – only matched by IoMSC Douglas.
Laxey travelled south to the Stadium range at Castletown for their league match. Once again, the home team, although producing a very consistent Division 1 score, fell to the northern side’s supremacy. John-Paul Bridson and Chris Birtwhistle both claimed the highest score for the hosts with Nigel Christian, Robin McFee and John Brewis all on 95. (Sorry Nigel, I will not mention your 97’s again !) Harry Creevy posted a 99 for the visitors and secured top shot for Laxey. Although Laxey were victorious in Division 1, the southerners claimed both Divisions 2 and 3.

As this is the first round, no positions are available. I do hope I have mentioned all those involved and if I have missed anyone, I apologise in advance.
