Bendy buses will not be introduced on the Isle of Man.
The Department of Community, Culture and Leisure says it’s due to the ‘very tough financial targets’ that public transport is facing.
The articulated vehicles were trialled on the Island earlier this year, with transport bosses claiming they could save £300,000 a year.
However, the department says following that trial, and independent evaluation, the Council of Ministers has ruled out the plans.
