Isle of Man firefighters won’t be striking alongside their UK counterparts ahead of bonfire night.
The ongoing situation in England and Wales will see members of the Fire Brigades Union taking industrial action for four and a half hours this evening and two hours on Monday after negotiations on pay and pensions broke down.
Chief officer Kevin Groom says he’s in constant communications with chief fire officers from both the North West Fire Rescue Services and Northern Island Fire Rescue Services.
