Government lost over £9 million last year running the buses and railways.
And it’s set to lose another £5.6 million in the next financial year.
The figures were revealed in the House of Keys yesterday by the Treasury Minister.
Eddie Teare said the Department of Community, Culture and Leisure spent £14.1 million in 2012/2013 on public transport – making just £4.5 million of income.
