A man whose house was blown up in a gas explosion five years ago says he’s frustrated that he’s still fighting for compensation.
Jim Horan says he, and his family, were left with nothing following the blast at his property in Port Erin in January 2008.
Forensic experts hired by Mr Horan’s legal team found a fracture in the gas main in the road outside his home.
It’s believed this caused the lower ground floor of his property to fill with gas which then ignited when the oil central heating system turned on.
A spokesperson for Manx Gas says it is inappropriate for the company to comment while proceedings are before the courts.
