The Rushen MHK who tried and failed to remove the Health Minister from his position says he expected the outcome he got.
In Tynwald this week Laurence Skelly put forward a vote of no confidence in David Anderson, saying he was unhappy with his leadership.
His mission was backed by eight other MHKs although it failed to find any support from other members of the House of Keys or the Legislative Council.
It did however spark a three-hour debate among members about the future of the health service.
