A new group has been set up to oversee how the Isle of Man will mark the 100th anniversary of the First World War.
2014 marks 100 years since the war began - and organisations, charities and the government are currently putting commemorative plans in place.
A steering group has been established to collaborate the efforts.
Director of Manx National Heritage Edmund Southworth is chairing the group - he says it's important people realise the impact the four year war had on the Island:
