Weather conditions on Sunday morning were very pleasing being bright sunshine and very little breeze, for the October Handicap shoot and John Wood took full advantage to post an excellent score of 585 plus 27 handicap giving a score of 612, two points ahead of junior shooter, fourteen year old, Thomas Clague in his first ever 60 shot match. Tom Lord recorded 600 an equal score posted by another junior, Alex Trafford – Lord taking the third position on count-back. Unfortunately, just eleven shooters arrived for the match and the full results posted were:- 1 – Wood 96, 96, 98, 99, 98, 98 = 585 (+27) = 612, 2 – Clague (Jnr) 94, 94, 90, 94, 97, 92 = 561 (+49 handicap) = 610, 3 (on count-back) –Lord 97, 97, 94, 97, 97, 99 = 581 (+19) = 600, 4 – Trafford (Jnr) 93, 93, 91, 90, 92, 85 = 544 (+56) = 600, 5 – Tony Kneale 95, 94, 92, 95, 95, 93 = 564 (+34) = 598, 6 – Richard Arthur 95, 96, 96, 97, 95, 98 = 577 (+20) = 597, 7 – Nick Brown 97, 94, 95, 94, 96, 95 = 571 (+25) = 596, 8 – Will Jones 95, 96, 92, 94, 96, 95 = 568 (+27) = 595, 9 – Illiam Christian (Jnr) 93, 93, 94, 95, 95, 92 = 562 (+31) = 593, 10 – Steve Callus 94, 93, 95, 89, 93, 90 = 554 (+39) = 593, 11 – Aaron Astill (Jnr) 85, 72, 88, 85, 88, 90 = 508 (+80) = 588.
