Communication vital in dementia treatment

A doctor on the Island has reiterated the need for increased social stimulation for dementia sufferers.

It comes after a UK charity claimed sufferers of the condition often felt isolated and cut off from everyday life.

The charity also suggested more could be done by carers to ensure patients felt more included and valued.
