Market boosts Manx economy

The organisers of the latest continental market in Douglas say the event has injected thousands of pounds into the local economy.

Various food and craft stalls were set up in the town centre over the past fortnight showcasing produce from around the world.

Last Christmas some businesses claimed the market was damaging their sales.

Michelle O'Malley is town centre manager - she says they've listened to that feedback:
