The Isle of Man College is braced to take on record numbers of degree students.
More than 60 students will start study programmes at both the Homefield Road and Nunnery campuses.
The college has attributed the boom to concerns surrounding tuition fees, but manager of higher education at the college Gail Corrin, says their results statistics are also a major incentive.
She says there are many benefits to studying in a more intimate setting:
