The Island is starting to attract more tourists in the 'off peak' season.
That's according to the Department of Economic Development which says the early signs for this year are positive.
It follows a drive to promote the Island's niche markets - such as dark skies tourism and walking and mountain biking.
Numerous journalists have visited on press trips over the summer with their articles set to be published over the next few months.
Head of tourism Angela Byrne says numbers are already up:
