The Isle of Man has signed an international tax transparency agreement with Switzerland.
It’s the latest deal from Treasury as the Island bids to increase its credibility and presence on the international stage.
Minister Eddie Teare confirmed it was the first agreement of its kind that Switzerland has signed, so the deal is a significant one for the Island.
The Isle of Man has now signed 39 international tax agreements with other countries.
Details of the deal can be found on the government’s website.
