More than £42,000 was raised at this year's Cancer Research Relay for Life.
Over 500 people took part in the community event last weekend.
It was the fourth year the fundraising effort has been held on the Island with over £170,000 being raised so far.
Teams taking part had to complete laps of the NSC track for 24 hours to reflect the idea that ‘cancer never sleeps’.
Organisers have thanked everyone who took part in the record-breaking effort and have already started planning for next year’s event.
