Two people onboard a small catamaran have had a lucky escape after their boat capsized off Ramsey.
The lifeboat was called out yesterday afternoon to go to the aid of the vessel which was in distress just outside of the harbour.
The crew who were in the water were trying to right the boat themselves but it had become unstable due to water in one of the hulls.
Rescuers were at the scene quickly and the pair were plucked to safety and taken to the beach, cold but unharmed.
