It’s hoped conditions will be favourable for the Manx Grand Prix practice session this evening.
An untimed practice had to be abandoned on Saturday because of bad weather and a lack of marshals.
Officials say enough people had signed up to marshal but for unknown reasons there were too few stationed around the circuit before the session was due to start.
67 newcomers are now due to get their first roads-closed experience with a speed-controlled lap tonight.
The seniors, juniors and supertwins are also scheduled to practice later.
Roads around the course are due to close to the public at 6pm and reopen no later than 9pm.
