A Douglas head teacher says he anticipates a possible drop off in numbers of students progressing onto University from next year as drastic alterations to the fee system are introduced.
Speaking as the outgoing A Level students secured a record number of top end grades, Andy Fox of St Ninian's conceded some families will struggle with the costly fees over a three year period.
From next year students will need to make an annual contribution of at least £2,500.
